You’ve heard of cooking chicken on a beer can, right? This cooker lets you do it in the oven, using your choice of liquids and in a handmade piece of pottery-actually 2 pieces. Gatlinburg potter David Howard of Treasures in Earthen Vessels took his popular Mountain Manna Chicken Cooker and made it especially for the One Pan Nan collection with the logo stamped right onto the cup. Pour your favorite liquid (wine, orange juice, soda, etc.) into the cup, position the chicken on the cup, and season the chicken according to your tastes. Nan shot a video recipe with David using the chicken cooker and you can see it here-Orange Rosemary Chicken. You can also use it for veggies and dip or use the base as a serving bowl, casserole, etc. The cooker is microwave, oven and dishwasher-safe, signed by the artist, and done by hand in the traditional folk pottery reminiscent of the 1800’s. Available in blue.
